Welcome to North Zulch I.S.D.
North Zulch ISD is home of the "Bulldogs" and a TEA "Acceptable" School District.
Superintendent Roy Gilbert wants you to know "the administration, teachers and staff at NZISD provide the best instructional strategies and overall educational programs that prepare its students to be positive, productive citizens upon their graduation from North Zulch schools." "High expectations for student performance will be the norm as we prepare our students for the future. Our school system will provide a challenging and effective instructional program with the best teachers available, will prepare our students to be proficient in the use of technology, will provide a safe and secure environment, and will have our graduates ready to enter college, technical school, the military, or the workforce." North Zulch has compiled an impressive record in University Interscholastic League competitions. The Bulldogs have advanced to the regional playoffs regularly in volleyball and softball. The basketball team will move to a small 1a classification and should now compete for the district championship in that division. North Zulch golfers have also advanced to the regional meet. North Zulch FFA and FCCLA students have achieved statewide recognition for their efforts. North Zulch ISD recently completed and moved into a new high school with outstanding academic and athletic facilities anticipating continued growth in the district. The former high school campus was renovated and now houses elementary grades PK-6 on their own campus. North Zulch offers educational programs that are among the region's leaders in producing students qualified to excel at the college and university level and to assume roles as tomorrow's leaders in Texas. Many of those graduating from NZISD have achieved college credit through advanced curriculum courses at the high school level giving them thorough academic preparations as they continue their educations. Each year NZISD patrons provide thousands of dollars in scholarships to graduates exhibiting a spirit of community that often doesn't exist in big city schools.
